Downtown San Luis Obispo dealt with another gas leak on Tuesday morning, Nov. 3. It's at least the third reported downtown in less than a month.
SLO City Fire responded shortly before 8:30 a.m. to the 1000 block of Court Street, KSBY reports. Nearby streets were closed and an evacuation order was issued. Anderson Hotel residents were taken to the Ludwick Community Center. SoCalGas found the leak during routine survey work.
The evacuation was lifted around 11:10 a.m. County election operations weren't affected.
Earlier leaks hit the 900 block of Monterey Street on Oct. 27 and the 700 block of Higuera Street on Oct. 8.
