Originally from Brazil, Maria is the Director of Salsatropical based in the City of London. She trained as a professional dancer at Alvin Ailey’s School in New York and at London Contemporary Dance School. She has been teaching dance since 1994, including 3 years teaching at BTEC – Performing Arts, Croydon College, at The City Lit and several other Adult Education in Brazil, New York and London.
