Westival Turns 10: Portsmouth's West End Threw a Free Block Party for Gather

Ten years of West End gratitude. One free Saturday. And every dollar raised pointed toward Gather. Portsmouth's Westival just hit double digits.

Westival celebrated its 10th anniversary on Saturday, Oct. 3, at West End Yards (35 Hodgdon Way), after shifting to its rain date, according to Stay Work Play New Hampshire and Seacoast Local Loop.

The morning was wellness hour: a short run/walk with Peak East Coast, pilates with Form Fitness, HIIT with ATX Fitness Therapy, and cold plunge + sauna recovery with Banya (10 a.m.–noon). The main festival ran noon–5 p.m. with live music, local food, family activities, a bounce house and community booths.

Hosted with Red Post Realty and the Portsmouth West End neighborhood, Westival keeps food affordable and funnels proceeds to Gather. Free to walk in. Neighbors first. Exactly the Seacoast energy we love.

Happy anniversary, West End. Save us a spot by the bounce house next year.
