Zoo Boo Bash Is Back in Sanford — Superheroes, Sanderson Sisters and Candy Paths

Central Florida Zoo put Halloween on the calendar in triplicate — and yes, Elsa and the Sanderson Sisters made the guest list.

WFTV reports the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens in Sanford is bringing back Zoo Boo Bash from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 17–18, Oct. 24–25 and Oct. 31.

New character meet-and-greets rotate by weekend: Captain America, Spider-Man and Black Widow first; Anna, Elsa and Kristoff second; and the Sanderson Sisters on Halloween. Families also get trick-or-treat stations, décor, activities and special animal enrichment.

Activities are included with regular zoo admission; annual pass holders pay $5 per person named on the pass. Costumes are encouraged. Last admission is 4 p.m., the zoo notes.

Sanford's not-so-scary October tradition is officially on. Wear the cape.
