Illustrative image. One of Sonoma County's most talked-about barbecue pop-ups has gone big. Red Eye Barbecue now runs the 250-seat restaurant inside Epicenter, the sports and entertainment complex at 3215 Coffey Lane in Santa Rosa. Pitmaster Bob Costarella built a following with his barbecue pop-ups and has now taken over the former Victory House space, Sonoma Magazine reports. The menu leans Central Texas, with scratch-made sides. His signature beef and pork ribs are smoked with applewood from a Martinelli orchard. On Mondays and Tuesdays the smoked-meat menu is limited, so plan a later-week visit if you want the full spread.
