“Viruses 2016” is an international scientific conference that took place in Basel, Switzerland, from January 26 to 28, 2016. After witnessing tremendous progress in virology research in recent years, “Viruses 2016” was the perfect opportunity to bring together virologists from around the world to discuss recent developments in research. The different sessions were thematically organized, ranging from the discussion of insect and animal viruses concerning innate immunity, RNA … and many more.

 “Viruses 2016” is an international scientific conference sponsored by the journal Virus under the patronage of the University of Basel. The conference will take place in Basel from 26 to 28 January 2016.
