The Mill Opens: Helena's Newest Downtown Event Space

Helena has a new room to party in, and it's already booked solid.

The Mill, downtown Helena's newest event venue, just opened at 802 Front Street — the passion project of 29-year-old Abigail Dolan, built for parties and creative gatherings with room for up to 250 guests.

She's not easing in. The Mill is already hosting all three headliners of the Helena Comedy Festival, November 12-14, and it ran Montana Pride's Perfectly Queer Comedy Show back in August. That's a venue arriving with its calendar full.

There's something great about a 29-year-old betting on downtown Helena nightlife and winning before the paint's dry. New venues mean new reasons to go out — and Helena can always use more of those.
