S'mores fire pit. Food trucks. Music. Games. Costumes encouraged. Portsmouth Rec just published the coziest free Saturday on the calendar.

The city's **6th Annual Fall Family Fun Fest** lands on **Saturday, Oct. 24**, from **11 a.m. to 2 p.m.** at the **Community Campus**, according to the City of Portsmouth.

Everyone's welcome. Costumes are encouraged. The Rec lineup includes music, games, a s'mores fire pit, food trucks and "lots of fun for the whole family." Best part: it's **free**.

It's the kind of hometown afternoon that reminds you why the Seacoast does fall so well — sticky marshmallows and all.

Pack the costume. Pack the kids. We'll meet you by the fire pit.
