RiverArtsFest Fills Riverside Drive With 160+ Artists This Weekend

Beale Street in downtown Memphis with neon signs

Downtown's riverfront turns into a mile-long gallery this weekend, and you can take the art home with you.

RiverArtsFest runs Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 17-18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Riverside Drive, stretching from Jefferson Avenue to Beale Street, according to the festival.

More than 160 juried artists will be selling original work, from painting and photography to ceramics, glass, jewelry, mixed media and wearable art.

The full artist directory is on the festival website, so you can plan your route by booth. Or just wander. That is half the fun.
