# Hillcrest HarvestFest Is Back for Year 32 — and the Dogs Get a Runway

Little Rock, clear your Saturday. Historic Hillcrest is about to turn Kavanaugh into Arkansas' coziest fall block party — and yes, the dogs get their own runway.

**Hillcrest HarvestFest** returns on **Saturday, Oct. 17**, for its **32nd year**, drawing tens of thousands for live music on the main stage, a local beer garden, a kids' zone and the festival's beloved Dog Show, according to Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau listings.

The party lands in the Historic Hillcrest District around **2900 Kavanaugh Blvd**. It's one of the city's most-loved neighborhood festivals — the kind where you bump into half your group text between the band and the lemonade stand.

And for the pups: the **HarvestFest Dog Show**, sponsored by Hounds Lounge, runs about **3–5 p.m.** near 3000 Kavanaugh. Organizers say it's not just for purebreds — every dog can strut the "dogwalk," snag a photo, take home a swag bag and chase trophies like Most Photogenic and Top Dog. Watching is free. Proceeds (matched by HarvestFest) benefit CARE for Animals Inc., per Eventbrite details for the show.

Bring your people. Bring your pup. Bring your appetite for fall in Hillcrest.
