Bend Fall Festival Wrapped: Hundreds of Booths, One Pie Bake-Off

Written by Richard Green | Jan 1, 1970, 12:00:00 AM

Downtown Bend smelled like pie this weekend, and nobody's complaining.

The 2026 Bend Fall Festival took over Wall Street, Oregon Avenue, and Minnesota Avenue Friday through Sunday — hundreds of artisan and maker booths, food vendors, craft beer and cider, family activities, and live music headlined by Fleetwood Mac tribute band Fleetwood Mask.

The new hook this year: the inaugural Harvest Bake-Off, with home bakers competing in pies, breads, and chili for a Best in Show title. Five bucks an entry, twenty pie slots, twenty bread slots — the kind of small-stakes glory Bend does best.

The Fall Festival is one of those weekends that reminds you why you live here: downtown closed to cars, full of neighbors, everybody eating something on a stick.

See you next October. Start practicing your pie crust now.

Three days, hundreds of vendors, one triumphant pie. The Fall Festival remains Bend's best argument for autumn. Until next year.
