The Indie Memphis Film Festival is back for its 28th year, with about 50 films screening Thursday, Nov. 5, through Sunday, Nov. 8.
Screenings are centered on South Main, at the Halloran Centre and Malco Powerhouse. The festival opens Thursday night with "The Lorraine" at 6:30 p.m.
If you miss a title during the main weekend, encore screenings are planned for Nov. 9 and 10 at Malco Studio on the Square.
