Austin's biggest week on the calendar starts now, and this year the racing weekend gets an extra day.
The Formula 1 United States Grand Prix returns to Circuit of The Americas Thursday through Sunday, Oct. 22-25, according to COTA. New this year is Grand PrixView Thursday, a preview day with F1 Academy on track, Pirelli hot laps and a pit lane walk from 2 to 4 p.m.
Practice runs Friday and Saturday, with qualifying Saturday afternoon. Lights out for the race is Sunday, Oct. 25, at 3 p.m. Central.
The music is half the draw. Maroon 5 plays Friday night, Post Malone headlines after qualifying Saturday, and Alesso closes the weekend after Sunday's race. The concerts are at the track and require a race ticket.
Check COTA's full schedule before you head out, since times are subject to change.
